About the KNCB
The Royal Dutch Cricket Association (KNCB), based in Amstelveen, is the national governing body for cricket in the Netherlands, founded in 1883. Our mission is to promote and facilitate the development and promotion of cricket at all levels, from grassroots participation to elite international performance.
The Netherlands ranks among the top 15 cricket nations and is recognized as a high performing Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
About the Team
The Netherlands Women’s cricket team has achieved historic milestones in recent years, regaining ODI status in 2022, reaching its highest ever rankings (12th in ODIs, 14th in T20Is), and delivering record breaking wins. Following a successful European qualifier campaign, we are now focused on qualifying for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2026.

The Role
As Head Coach, you will:
- Lead and coach the Netherlands women’s teams (National XI and Academy)
- Design and implement progressive training programs
- Drive the women’s pathway program and talent development initiatives
- Deliver individual coaching support and skill sessions to the squad members
- Prepare and lead teams for international competitions and ICC qualification tournaments
- Chair the women’s selection panel
- Supervise and mentor assistant coaches in the women’s pathway set-up
- Collaborate with club coaches to identify and nurture emerging talent
- Provide seasonal performance reports and development plans
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: ECB Level 3 or international equivalent
- Experience: Proven success coaching women’s teams at elite level
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Expertise in talent development and match analysis systems
- Understanding of Associate Member Cricket environment
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Full driver’s license and ability to reside in the Netherlands during the contract

Een winter vol Oranjecricket!
Na de succesvolle deelname van ons nationale vrouwenteam aan de eerste editie van de ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand staan er alweer nieuwe belangrijke toernooien op het programma voor onze nationale teams. In januari spelen de Oranjevrouwen de T20 World Cup Qualifier in de Nepalese hoofdstad Kathmandu. De vier beste teams plaatsen zich voor het T20 WK in Engeland in de zomer van 2026. In februari en maart 2026 nemen de Oranjemannen deel aan de ICC T20 World Cup, die in India en Sri Lanka zal worden gespeeld. Een van de topwedstrijden is die in Ahmedabad op 18 februari 2026 tegen gastland India.
