Salland Cricket Club
Salland CC made its way into the Dutch cricket world on 5 May 2005.
The vision of the club is to be a financially healthy and sportsmanlike club, with a long term vision re their place in Netherlands cricket. Members can play both social and performance cricket.
Salland CC is one of the six clubs in The Netherlands with a grass wicket, two squares actually, which gives the club a unique position in the country, as it also only plays on grass - no artificial pitches. Since 2010 it holds the ODI-status. Every year the club hosts several international matches & tournaments for men, women and youth.
Salland CC first men's XI were promoted to a higher level regularly since 2005 and now plays in the Hoofdklasse, the second highest level in the national league. In addition two teams play in the lower leagues. The youth department keeps growing, and Salland CC is the largest club in the Eastern part of The Netherlands.
A pool of professional coaches looks after the coaching of the members throughout the year.
