VRA
VRA is one of the oldest and leading cricket clubs in The Netherlands. Its home is the beautiful NOC*NSF A-sports accommodation with an international AAA-status. VRA hosts the national men's XI on a very regular basis.
The main ground is often being used for the most important international matches with the likes of New Zealand, Pakistan (2020), South Africa (2013), Sri Lanka (2006) and so on.
VRA also welcomes touring teams from all over the world.
VRA is represented at all levels of Dutch cricket. The men's first XI in the Top League, and the same goes for the women. VRA is famous for its 'Saturday afternoon' (Zami) teams, which bring a lot of fun and colour to the club. The clubs also hosts a number of corporate cricket teams which take part in the national corporate league.
There's an annual 'India Day' at VRA, which brings together lots of Indian expats in the 'Amsterdam Forest'.
Overall VRA is a very hospitable club which welcomes everyone from around the world: its location near Schiphol airport and a chain of hotels makes it a popular club to visit. It has a multi cultural feel about it, which connects lots of different people from all continents.
