- Bangladesh wins second T20I in sweltering Sylhet

The Netherlands was unable to win the second Dutch-Bangla Bank T20I against Bangladesh. The score was 103-104/1 - in a sweltering Sylhet.
Bangladesh elected to field after winning the toss. A promising start for the Dutch team was unfortunately ruined by left-arm spinner Nasum (14/2).
The batters remained positive and went for their shots, as Vikramjit Singh underscored with a beautiful cover drive in the fourth over. In the fifth over, he silenced the crowd of around 15,000 with two more boundaries. Unfortunately for the Dutch, Vikram's cameo (24) ended on 37/3/5.3.
Without Levitt, Ackermann, De Leede, and Van Beek, the batting lineup lacks depth. In a short space of time, Shariz Ahmad, batting at five, escaped twice: a simple catch at third man on his first ball and a huge run-out opportunity. He capitalized only to a limited extent, scoring 12 runs. It was thanks to a brisk 30 from Aryan Dutt that the Dutch team surpassed 100.
Paul van Meekeren looked to have forced a breakthrough with an LBW, but the ball pitched outside leg stump. Daniel Doram deserved a wicket (dropped on the wide long boundary), but there was little else to be gained for the Dutch bowlers as Tanzid (54 not out) eased the hosts to 104/1. Dutt bowled brilliantly, 0-14 in his four overs, while Kyle Klein took the only wicket.
