- Brilliant bowling eases Dutch team past Tanzania

The Dutch women's team won the third match of the Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand. They bowled Tanzania out for 62 and overtook that score without any significant difficulty.
Tanzania was allowed to bat first after losing the toss, and planned to post a big score. However, the Dutch bowling and fielding were simply too good to achieve that goal. The wickets fell steadily, including five bowled, and the largest partnership totaled only sixteen runs.
All bowlers came off with strong figures. Hannah Landheer, Frédérique Overdijk, and Silver Siegers each took two wickets; Player of the Match Iris Zwilling was untouchable with 3-13 in her four overs. 62 all out was the paltry final result.
The pitch once again looked sticky and slow, but the Dutch team took its time for the successful runchase, with Sterre Kalis (24) as top scorer and Robine Rijke (13 not out) and Frédérique Overdijk 16 (not out) as capable finishers. Sophia Jerome took 2-19 for the African women.
With this victory, the Netherlands climbs significantly in the tournament rankings.
