- Coach Campbell remains combative

After the Netherlands’ defeat against Ireland, Namibia also proved to be too strong for the Dutch team. Since Sri Lanka beat Ireland, the Netherlands cannot reach the Super 12 anymore.
Coach Ryan Campbell: “Obviously, there’s a very hollow feeling at the moment with everyone bitterly disappointed at the result. In saying that, I don’t believe two losses should define this group.”
“We will review everything that has happened and hopefully make sure we get it right.
Sri Lanka is a great opportunity for us to leave this World Cup with our heads held high.”
The final match of the Netherlands against Sri Lanka will be on Friday, October 22 at 4 PM Dutch time.
