- Dutch fall short of Canadian T20I target despite rearguard action

The Dutch men have not been able to chase a relatively modest Canadian target. In Utrecht, the well-visited duel ended in 132-124.
On 35/6, Canada was almost dead and buried, with four different wickettakers and ducks for both openers.
Movva and Bin Zafar (both 33) and both tailenders gave the Canadians something to bowl against (132/9). Kyle Klein took 3-22 and Paul van Meekeren 3-29.
Michael Levitt, Max O'Dowd and Scott Edwards were unable to continue their good performances from the game against the US. After Vikram Singh's 22 and a mediocre 44/4, hopes were placed on Noah Croes and Ryan Klein (22). In addition, the high required run rate was an issue.
The two players managed a partnership of 37 runs for the sixth wicket. Noah Croes (32) made an ultimate attempt with 2, 4, 6 off the first three balls of the final over, but was run out. The Dutch finished on 124/8.
