- Dutch men narrowly lose in first T20I against Oman

The Dutch men's team has narrowly lost the first T20I against Oman. Oman surpassed the 138 Dutch runs only five balls before the end.
Colin Ackermann (34 off 31) and Noah Croes (33 off twenty balls as number seven) top scored for the Dutch, who were sent in by Oman. After 50/4, 138 was a reasonable total.
With Oman on 23/3, the Netherlands could hope for a favorable end result. However, wicketkeeper/ batsman Hammad Mirza (62 off 42) had other plans and turned the game around. Together with Sufyan Mehmood (37) he made 76 runs for the fifth wicket.
With the scores level 'Bulldog' Roelof van der Merwe (3-15) took two wickets in succession, but on the first ball of the final over, the win went to the home team.
The Dutch team will play two more T20Is against the host country on November 14 and 16. Unfortunately, there is no live stream of these matches, but there is a live scorecard via the Espncricinfo app.
