UPDATE: Dutch men's team back in The Netherlands
Published at 03 December, 2021The Dutch men's team has returned to The Netherlands. They were in South Africa for the CWC Super League Series against the host country, but due to increasing concerns about travel bans and restrictions on air traffic it was decided, in consultation with Cricket South Africa, to postpone the series after only one of three matches was played.
UPDATE: Friday 3 December
The team has landed at Schiphol earlier today. After tests at Schiphol, the men have been quarantined, as noted below. The KNCB would like to thank Cricket South Africa for their help and good cooperation in the return of the players and staff.
Thursday 2 December
The men will land at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on Friday morning. Before departure from South Africa, the men have been tested several times and all players and staff members will also be tested on arrival. The players who travel on to England will first stay quarantined in the Netherlands for 10 days and the players who reside in the Netherlands will remain in self-quarantine for five days, after which they will be tested again.
