- UPDATE: Dutch squad for CWC Super League Series against Afghanistan

The KNCB has made the following change in the squad for the upcoming Super League Series against Afghanistan in Qatar. Max O'Dowd will be replaced by Musa Nadeem Ahmad.
Jeroen Smits, Netherlands Men's Team Manager: "The demands on players to prepare and play international cricket are challenging and the pandemic has made this even more difficult. Travel restrictions, long quarantine periods and time away from family and friends have put a huge strain on everyone. The primary focus of the KNCB has always been the mental health and welfare of players and staff.
For this reason, we have decided that Max will stay in NZ and not travel to Qatar to join the team."

A winter full of Orange cricket!
Following our national women's team's successful participation in the inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand, new major tournaments are already on the schedule for our national teams. In January, the Dutch women will play the T20 World Cup Qualifier in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. The top four teams will qualify for the T20 World Cup in England in the summer of 2026. In February and March 2026, the Dutch men will participate in the ICC T20 World Cup, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka. One of the top matches is the one in Ahmedabad on February 18, 2026, against host nation India.
