Dutch women's team will take on top nations during World Cup in June
Published at 24 February, 2026The ICC has released the fixtures for the T20 World Cup, which will be held from June 12 to July 5, 2026 in England and Wales. The Dutch will take on top countries such as India, Australia and South Africa.
In January of this year, the Netherlands qualified in Nepal for the first time in history for the T20 World Cup.
Captain Babette de Leede: “Playing at a T20 World Cup for the first time is of course super cool. It is close to home and we expect to see a lot of orange in the stands. I hope our performance will also inspire the next generation of cricketers in the Netherlands.”
