- Emirates bounce back in second friendly vs Netherlands A

The United Arab Emirates has won the second friendly game against the Netherlands ‘A’ on Thursday. The Dutch selection made 171 all out in 48.1 overs. The Emirates lost only three wickets before surpassing this mediocre score.
48/3 was not a great start for the Netherlands A, but Shariz Ahmad (38) and Bas de Leede (48) made 71 runs for the fourth wicket, bringing the score to 119/4. However, 171 all out was all Orange ‘A’ could manage and that was mainly due to 4-45 from Zahid Ali.
The Emirates got off to a fantastic start with 150 runs for the first wicket. Aryansh Sharma, who also had runs in the first game, was dismissed for 80 runs. His opening partner Sagar Kalyan remained with 84 not out. Shariz Ahmad, who was involved late in the attack, took 2-26.
The practice games preceded the matches that the UAE, Scotland and the Netherlands will play as part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2, from 4 to 16 May.
