- England XI still on zero points in T10 after fourth loss in a row

In the Dream11 European Cricket Championship in Malaga on Tuesday, the Netherlands A defeated England by 137-107. It was another team performance with runs for Ahmad and Klein, and wickets for Braat, Kingma and Sikander Zulfiqar.
Remarkably, England have not yet won a single match; possibly due to lack of match rhythm, as they qualified for the Championship Week as reigning T10 champions.
Musa Ahmad was back to his old self after his unfortunate run out against Scotland, with 45 runs off just 23 balls. Ryan Klein had his timing back with 35 off ten balls, including five massive sixes. Sikander Zulfiqar closed the first act with 21 off nine balls, bringing the final score to a solid 137/6.
England innings
Harrison Ward, who was so successful in this format last year, mishit a short Kingma delivery and was caught off the very first ball. In the same over, Kingma also dismissed Callis. Since Braat and Floyd were also successful, England had lost four wickets in no time.
Dan Lincoln (42 off 13) brought England back into the game when he hit 17-year-old Udit Nashier for 34 runs in an over. It was 58/4 after five overs. However, Sikander Zulfiqar came to the rescue when he took two wickets in his first over. When he consequently caused a run out, grabbed a catch at long on ánd recorded his third wicket (3-18), England were effectively beaten. Nashier's final over was significantly better than his first. Braat took 2-17, Kingma 2-5.
The Netherlands - Spain (both unbeaten) is now the match to watch. It will be played on Wednesday evening 12 October at 7.30 pm and again on 13 October at 3.30 pm.
