- FairBreak impresses in first T20

FairBreak has won the first T20 against the Netherlands womens team: 148 - 113. For the women in Orange Babette de Leede stood out with 70 runs.
Batting first, FairBreak started energetically. The Netherlands celebrated an early success when Ariana Dowse was run out by a wonderful throw from Robine Rijke.
The fifth over saw a dropped chance at mid off, but shortly after, bowler Annemijn van Beuge changed the direction of a straight drive, running out Mariko Hill at 37/2.
Daswani (39) and Kerry Tomlinson made 69 runs for the third wicket until Daswani was bowled by Overdijk, followed by an LBW for Brazilian Moretti Avery several balls later.
With 62 not out Tomlinson made a fair share of FairBreak’s total of 148. Overdijk took 2-32 whilst Van Beuge was economical with 0-17 off four overs.
