- FairBreak makes it 3 from 3

FairBreak has won the third and final T29 against the Netherlands. The 130 Dutch runs were surpassed in the 18th over.
Where the Dutch opening machine faltered earlier this week, this time the start was excellent, reaching 50 without loss in only the sixth over. 18 year-old Robyn van Oosterom showed guts hitting well-timed shots over the top.
A shot across the line meant the demise of Babette de Leede (26 off 17), but 62/1 after seven overs was a quickfire start regardless. It was 67/2 when Robyn (33 off 29) was bowled.
Robine Rijke and Annemijn Thomson continued where they had finished on Thursday. Thomson (27 off 22) places the ball into a gap like no other; Rijke (26 not out off 31) is fast between the wickets and strong down the ground.
It was FairBreak’s merit that the runrate did not explode. Where 150 had seemed possible, the Netherlands final score was 130.
FairBreak innings
Unfortunately the Dutch bowling was not as disciplined as on Thursday. Loose deliveries resulted in as many boundaries. After ten overs FairBreak was on 75/0 and well on track for a third consecutive victory.
In the eleventh over Annemijn Thomson did create a breakthrough bowling Dowse for 26 (82/1). A bit later De Lange got her deserved wicket trapping Foster in front.
Tomlinson had just made her third fifty of the week when Thomson got her out LBW (95/3).
However, the ‘dirty work’ had already been done. In the 18th over victory was the visitors’ through a crafty rampshot.
