- Fighting spirit brings the Dutch memorable victory over USA

The Dutch men's team inflicted a painful defeat on the USA in the final match of the T20I TriSeries. 132/8 proved to be sufficient for the win thanks to a fantastic fielding and bowling performance from the Dutch.
In the top order only Max O'Dowd (27) did what was expected of him. Ryan (36 not out) and Kyle Klein (16) gave the Dutch total a more bearable appearance (132/8) after an intermediate score of 72/6 - three wickets fell on 72 - with a partnership of 35 runs for the eighth wicket. Left arm spinner Harmeet Singh took 3-8 in his four overs.
The USA had a lightning start thanks to 20-year-old talent Saiteja Mukkamalla (24 off sixteen balls). With Andries Gous and Aaron Jones, the American team seemed to be heading for an easy victory.
But Aryan Dutt (3-22) forced a double breakthrough in the middle order and Orange sensed an opportunity. When Lion-Cachet got top scorer Gous (43) LBW, it was 107/7. Lion-Cachet also ran out Yasdeep Singh, and taking the last wicket was up to Paul van Meekeren (1-5). The US fell four runs short. Daniel Doram was also important with 2-30.
Thanks to this spectacular turnaround, the Netherlands has won its own T20I TriSeries.
