U17
HCC (182/6) did not get the expected opposition from regional rival Voorburg CC. Victor Wiesemeier’s 75 (53) laid the foundation for a good score, where VCC did not come close despite contributions from Cedric de Lange, Tom de Leede and Jamie Stemmet. VCC (143 all out) did not have a sufficient answer to the good bowling of Tim Korthals Altes (3-17).
U17
In Rotterdam, VOC (167/3/24.5) beat VRA (166/5). VRA's total was mainly achieved by Adam Madgwick (61 not out) whilst Koen de Vos took 2-14. Roman Harhangi (50) and Tom de Widt (52 not out) kept the points and the title in Rotterdam.
U15
HCC – Sparta was a big win for the visitors: 217/9 versus 140 all out. Jay Raval (60 not out) top scored for the Spartans; for HCC, Hein de Gijzel took 3-49. HCC seemed to be well on course (William Eggleston 29, Hein de Gijzel 33*), but on 107 Shaurya Shah (7-14) took five wickets in a row – a unique achievement!
U15
Qui Vive- ACC showed that there are sliding panels in youth cricket. ACC made 125 (Ayaan Barve 3-9). Eighty wides (i.e. 40 double counters) helped Qui Vive to 126/5/21.5.
U15
Kampong defeated Punjab-Ghausia at home, which scored 140 runs thanks to Adnan Ahmad's 38. With two catches, 3-13 and 62 not out, Conner Craddock gave the Player of the Match Adjudicator an easy day.
U13 (semi-finals)
VOC only managed 104 all out (Shafi 24, Chavada 3-3, Sanghrajka 3-8). That was made in just 8.5 overs by Kampong with Vihaan Negi (35 not out) as top scorer.
U13 (semi-finals)
Qui Vive Red (114/6/25, Patel 28) didn't make it against Hilversum, who reached 118/2 two overs before time (Abhineet Mishra 49 not out).
U11 HB (semi-finals)
VCC 1 (122/8, Aakash Bhardwaj 2-5) did not come close to the solid 163/7 that Kampong U11 had previously made.
U11 HB (semifinals)
In the other semi-final, VOC (128/5, Soham Patel 2-6) won, although ACC came close with 111/5.
