- Four Dutch players active in winter franchises in Emirates and America

In the coming months, various Dutch players will be active in a number of private cricket initiatives in the Emirates and the United States.
Bas de Leede (Voorburg CC) will participate in the Abu Dhabi T10 with the Morrisville SAMP Army from 23 November to 4 December.
From 6 January to 12 February 2023, the first ILT20 will be held in the United Arab Emirates. Bas de Leede has been signed by the MI Emirates, a franchise of the Mumbai Indians.
Left arm seamer Fred Klaassen (Kent CCC) will play for the Dubai Capitals. Brandon Glover has been contracted by the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders.
Finally, VCC left-handed opening batsman Musa Ahmad has been signed for the Premium Kiwis that will participate in the American Premier League (APL) T20, which will be played in Miami at the end of December 2022.

A winter full of Orange cricket!
Following our national women's team's successful participation in the inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand, new major tournaments are already on the schedule for our national teams. In January, the Dutch women will play the T20 World Cup Qualifier in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. The top four teams will qualify for the T20 World Cup in England in the summer of 2026. In February and March 2026, the Dutch men will participate in the ICC T20 World Cup, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka. One of the top matches is the one in Ahmedabad on February 18, 2026, against host nation India.
