- HCC (women) and VRA (men) T20 Topklasse champions 2025

At a rainy Hermes DVS, HCC (women) and VRA (men) were crowned T20 champions of 2025. HCC defeated Quick on Duckworth/Lewis, and in the men's match, HCC was defeated by VRA in a similarly shortened match.
HCC sent in Quick's women in the morning. Annemijn Thomson (86) continued her good form, but at the other end, the outstanding Iris Zwilling (1-7 in four overs) dismissed Alarda Mol with a beauty that just hit the top of the off stump (28/1). Thanks to 25 runs from Luisa Ekelmans, Quick put 143 on the board. Frédérique Overdijk, who recently switched to offspin, took 2-33.
Game on, given the strong and deep batting lineup of the other Hague club. At 31/1/4, HCC was on course to surpass Quick's 143 runs. Unfortunately for the neutral fan, it then began to rain heavily. After the break, HCC needed only a few more runs to reach the revised target (Overdijk 21 not out) – an unsatisfactory ending that prevented what would have been an interesting test of strength.
Men's Final
The men's final kicked off in the afternoon. There was considerable uncertainty surrounding the match because VCC had informed the KNCB that Shirase Rasool was ineligible to play in the semi-final due to a lack of appearances in the group stage. The KNCB ultimately overruled this, allowing VRA to make an appearance. Here too, it was a good toss to win, and that proved to be the case. HCC were put into bat in the game which was reduced to eleven overs per innings. HCC had no answer to the VRA attack as Teja Nidamanuru excelled with 3-9. HCC knew that 65/7 wouldn't be enough; VRA came out of the blocks with all guns blazing, clinching the T20 championship in just 6.5 overs.
Men's Premier and First Division
Two other finals were meant to be played at Punjab. Kampong had ACC at 17/2 when rain spoiled the fun. Earlier in the day, Kampong 2 defeated Hercules, who only managed 105/8. With 58 runs from 38 balls, Ajinkya More laid the foundation for an easy victory for Kampong.
