- Hurricanes level Fairtree ProSeries due to Saqib century

On May 16, the Seafarers' third and final clash against the Hurricanes took place. The first (at VRA) was abandoned, the second (at Kampong) yielded a win for captain Scott Edwards' Seafarers - so the Hurricanes (led by Max O'Dowd) were eager for revenge. And they got it.
O'Dowd won the toss and sent in the Seafarers. That seemed like a good choice, because already on 15 the important wicket of Vikram Singh fell. However, successive partnerships of 37, 55, 32 and 72 took the Seafarers to a pretty decent 238 in 50 overs, with solid Barresi (55) and Edwards (62) as top scorers. Seamers Ryan Klein (2-35) and Alex Roy (2-23) were not only economical, but also effective in the Hurricanes’ attack.

Medium pacer Michael Levitt got O'Dowd (27) LBW in twelfth over, but the Hurricanes recovered superbly from this bloodletting.
Musa Ahmad was temporarily replaced, as he had been hit on a painful part of his physique – something that had also happened to Scott Edwards earlier in the day.
When Musa returned, he built an extensive partnership with Saqib Zulfiqar.
The requested run rate had risen to 6.7 per over, but both batters showed no awe of the Seafarers' attack. Musa finished on 61 not out; Saqib emphatically declared his candidacy for the World Cup Qualifier with a formidable 107 not out. Levitt 2-35 and Doram 1-12 held their own in the Seafarers’ attack.
