- Hurricanes too strong for Seafarers once again

In the clash on Wednesday, the Hurricanes were again too good for the Seafarers. The Seafarers were unable to handle tight bowling by Kyle Klein and Aryan Dutt, and 116/9 would not prove sufficient.
The VRA ground was not in order yet which is why the match was relocated to VCC.
Apart from Scott Edwards (45) and Ryan Klein (21), there were no Seafarers who made scores of significance. At 48/5 the team was in trouble and due to Edwards and Ryan Klein that the Seafarers still had something to bowl against. Brother Kyle Klein 2-21 and Aryan Dutt 2-19 were in form for the Hurricanes, who then maintained a comfortable pace in their innings thanks to Michael Levitt (22), Shariz Ahmad (27) and Teja Nidamanuru (38). In 17.5 overs it was ‘game over’. Five Seafarers took a wicket each.
On May 7 at Hermes DVS in Schiedam the final clash between these two teams will take place as part of the preparation for the T20 TriSeries with Ireland and Scotland from May 18 to 24 and the T20 World Cup in June.
