- Hurricanes win nailbiter by one run

In a fantastic game, the Hurricanes have managed to keep the Seafarers behind them. Kyle Klein became the match winner with 4-19 in a bizarre nailbiter: 144-143.
The Seafarers sent in the Hurricanes. They came to a reasonable, but not shocking total of 144 runs, especially due to Michael Levitt (48). Aryan Dutt hit two sixes in the final over and these would prove to be of interest later. Alex Roy took 2-9, Tim Pringle 2-19.
The Seafarers started well and at 94/1 they seemed no better cruising towards a simple victory. However, Daniel Doram (3-19) went through the middle order and at 109/6 it was anybody's game.
The fate of the Seafarers was in the hands of opener Vikram Singh, who played a great innings. However, the tail did not manage to give Singh the strike. In the final of the excelling Kyle Klein (4-19), Singh (90 not out) brought the Seafarers almost next to the Hurricanes with a six, but he left the winning runs to Paul van Meekeren - in vain.
Other tha what the scorecard said, it was therefore the Hurricanes who narrowly won the game.
