- Ireland beats Orange in second encounter

Ireland has defeated the Netherlands for the second time. Where the Dutch had a good chance of winning in the previous encounter , Ireland was not really in danger now: 110-111/3.
The Dutch openers both managed nine runs (37/2), after which Babette de Leede and Robine Rijke (25) made thirty runs for the third wicket.
After nine (!) wides in the eleventh Laura Delany suffered from her finger. Leah Paul finished the over and got De Leede (23) LBW. A little later, Frédérique Overdijk also had no luck with a close run out decision.
These mistakes led to a mini-collapse. Orange lost too many wickets to be able to accelerate. The twenty overs were not used fully due to unnecessary mistakes and 110 will not have impressed Ireland. Arlene Kelly took 5-14.
Iris Zwilling (1-24) bowled opener Coulter-Reilly with a beauty, Hannah Landheer (2-17) got Prendergast (49) caught behind and Zwilling caught Lewis (56) brilliantly in the covers, but still Ireland took the win with concentrated batting.
On Wednesday, the Netherlands will play its last match of the tournament against Germany at 11:00 a.m.
