- Jeremy Bray (49) interim coach Dutch women's cricket team
Jeremy Bray will be interim coach of the Dutch women’s team during the European World Cup Qualifiers, which will be played from 4-13th September in Desert Springs (Spain). Jeremy will take over this temporary position in absence of Shane Deitz who has taken up the role as Head Coach West Indies women’s cricket as of the 1st of September.
Bray was born in Australia in 1973, but also has an Irish passport; he was an Irish international in the past. In his active cricket career, Bray (49) was a talented left-handed batsman who made a World Cup century against Zimbabwe in 2007. Bray retired from international cricket in 2010, after which he pursued a coaching career. Earlier he was head coach of the Irish women's team.
In 1997 Bray played in the Netherlands in which year he made 993 runs for Kampong (avg. 55.17) including three centuries. This made him the fourth most successful batsman of the Hoofdklasse (now called Topklasse).
