- KNCB discusses stronger collaboration and predictability for High Performing Associates with ICC

At the invitation of ICC Chairman Jay Shah and CEO Sanjog Gupta, KNCB Chairman Guido Landheer and interim CEO Lucas Hendrikse held a constructive meeting in Lausanne with the leadership of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The main topic was the joint letter from the seven High Performing (HP) Associates to the ICC, which advocates for greater predictability and transparency in the organization's policies. This concerns both the stability of the financial model and better coordination of international match scheduling.
The ICC expressed understanding for the HP Associates' concerns and ambitions. Ideas were exchanged on potential new models that could strengthen international cricket. Discussions included a greater role for the T20 format and more structured participation of HP Associates in annual T20 matches, including meetings with Full Members. Such steps could significantly boost the further growth of cricket in countries like the Netherlands.
The ICC will continue to address the topics discussed. The Netherlands has offered to actively contribute to the implementation and next steps. Finally, it has been agreed that the High Performing Associates and the ICC will henceforth meet monthly to discuss progress and work together on concrete improvements for the future of global cricket.
