The KNCB is pleased to announce the Netherlands A squad for the upcoming T20 Tri-Series against Austria and Germany in Deventer at the end of June. The team will be skippered by Sebastiaan Braat.
Apart from a number of regular A Team members Head Coach Pierce Fletcher has also picked several fresh players for 2023, with the national team away in Zimbabwe for the World Cup Qualifier.
Daniel Doram and Roel Verhagen are selected for the A Team for the first time this summer.
The squad also sees three Dutch U19 squad players in Aaditt Jain, Teun Kloppenburg and Udit Nashier.
On the squad Fletcher said “We have brought together a very exciting squad. It is great to have a mix of youth and experience for this series.” Captain Braat added his thoughts on the Tri-Series: “To play against two strong continental European teams is a great challenge for our squad and I can’t wait to see how we go”.
Both Germany and Austria are preparing for the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Scotland at the end of July and will also play full T20Is during the series.
