- KNCB Youth Season Opening Day 2024: A Sunny and Colorful Affair at VCC

May 1 marked the vibrant kickoff of the Youth Season at VCC, with over 100 enthusiastic kids stepping onto the field to celebrate the spirit of cricket. The event had the participation of the national players, adding a touch of inspiration and expertise to the day's festivities.
The day began with tip and run games, where budding cricketers had the opportunity to showcase their skills and learn from the best in the country. National players generously shared tips and advice, nurturing the passion for cricket among the youngsters.
Highlighting the interactive nature of the event, a press conference was hosted by Logan Van Beek, providing a platform for the kids to engage directly with the players. From curious inquiries to insightful questions, the interaction was both educational and entertaining, capturing the essence of cricket as a community sport.
Amidst the cheerful atmosphere and the warm rays of the sun, the Youth Season Opening Day 2024 proved to be a memorable occasion, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.

A winter full of Orange cricket!
Following our national women's team's successful participation in the inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand, new major tournaments are already on the schedule for our national teams. In January, the Dutch women will play the T20 World Cup Qualifier in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. The top four teams will qualify for the T20 World Cup in England in the summer of 2026. In February and March 2026, the Dutch men will participate in the ICC T20 World Cup, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka. One of the top matches is the one in Ahmedabad on February 18, 2026, against host nation India.
