Netherlands A third in the Dream11 European Cricket Championship
Published at 08 October, 2021After taking the group win two weeks ago, Netherlands A played the finals week of the Dream11 European Cricket Championship in Malaga. We played well and got third in the end! Read below to live back every second.
Friday 8 October - Finals day
Netherlands A won the eliminator match versus Spain by 66 runs. This meant we were through to the qualifier for the final at 14:00 CET. That match would be played against the loser of the first qualifier match, between England XI and Belgium, being Belgium.
Unfortunately Belgium won the match, meaning Netherlands A are out of the tournament.

Thursday 7 October - Play-offs
A disappointing day for Netherlands A. We lose to England XI and Belgium.
