Netherlands don't make Super 12 in T20 World Cup
Published at 22 October, 2021The Netherlands played Ireland, Namibia and Sri Lanka in the group stage of the T20 World Cup. We weren't able to win against these opponents, forcing us out after just three matches. Read how it went down below.

- Monday 18 October - 12:00 CET - Ireland vs Netherlands (Ireland win by 7 wickets)
- Wednesday 20 October - 12:00 CET - Namibia vs Netherlands (Namibia win by 6 wickets)
- Friday 22 October - 16:00 CET - Sri Lanka vs Netherlands (Sri Lanka win by 8 wickets)
Friday 22 October: Netherlands - Sri Lanka
We lost our final game of the T20 World Cup. Sri Lanka were too strong and beat us by 8 wickets. That concludes the T20 World Cup for us.
Wednesday 20 October
Netherlands lose their second match of the tournament to Namibia, by 6 wickets. This loss means Netherlands are 0-for-2 in the group stage.

Monday 18 October
Today, the tournament kicked off officially for our Dutch squad. Unfortunately, the first match against Ireland was a loss. The Irish beat us by 7 wickets, giving us all the more reason to get behind "Oranje" for the remaining games!
