National coach Ryan Cook announces selection for World Cup qualifying matches against visiting Scotland and United Arab Emirates
Published at 23 April, 2025In the first half of May the Dutch men's cricket team will play four One Day Internationals in the Netherlands. These matches – two against Scotland, two against United Arab Emirates – will be played within the framework of the Cricket World Cup League 2 (WCL2) and are important for qualification for the 2027 Cricket World Cup.
The matches will take place at VRA in Amstelveen and Kampong in Utrecht.
The top-4 of the eight countries participating in the WCL2 will eventually play a qualifying tournament for the World Cup, which will be held in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe in 2027.
