- Netherlands A beat Guernsey in second 50-over match

The second 50-over match against Guernsey was as easy a win as the first. Guernsey made 127 runs. The Netherlands quickly surpassed that score and batted out the fifty overs, allowing Sybrand Engelbrecht to make his century.
Guernsey opted to bat after winning the toss. Viv Kingma was successful in his first over; Birch went fishing for a ball outside the offstump. Moments later, his opening partner Butler followed, also for a duck; he was given LBW. Dutch seamers Kyle Klein and Viv Kingma were 'all over' Nightingale and Stokes, they were bitten countless times outside the offstump and also dropped. Moments later, Michael Levitt picked up a slipcatch that was much harder than the chance he had missed one over earlier, but the same over he made another mistake at the same fielding position.
Oliver (32) and especially Tom Nightingale (60) repaired the damage with a partnership of 90 runs for the fourth wicket. Then, from a Guernsey perspective, things went horribly wrong again. The last five wickets fell for sixteen runs. Spinners Shariz Ahmad and Clayton Floyd (3-21) came off the field with identical bowling figures and Kyle Klein (2-4 in five overs) was unplayable for the islanders. 127 all out was the poor end result.
Thanks mainly to S.A. Engelbrecht (50 not out at the time of the winning run) and Noah Croes (39), The Netherlands A went past the Guernsey total in the thirtieth over. It was agreed to continue the innings. That gave Engelbrecht (107 not out) the opportunity to crown his second innings for Netherlands A with a well-made century. Netherlands A finished on 243/6.
