- Netherlands A beats Denmark twice

Match 1
Poor shot selection and running between the wickets played tricks on Denmark in the first T20 against Netherlands A on July 11. At VRA – where the players used an astroturf strip – the Danes only managed 77 all out. Especially Arnav Jain (3-7), Kyle Klein and Clayton Floyd (2-8) caused insurmountable problems for the Danish batsmen.
Netherlands A kept pace in the runchase. After five overs, the team was already halfway the target (39/0). Musa Ahmad (30) and his brother Shariz were adjudged LBW, but captain Noah Croes (33 not out) and Ryan Klein (15 not out) brought in the victory in eleven overs.
Match 2
On Thursday afternoon, the Netherlands A batted first. After a mediocre start (18/3), Shariz Ahmad (55) and Kyle Klein (43) made a partnership of 79 runs for the fourth wicket. The final score was 136/9/20. Shakeel Zeb took 4-15 for the Danes.
At 13/2, the Danish batting seemed to become a replica of the morning session. After a promising partnership of 44 runs for the third wicket, the rot came back in, but danger man Shangeev Thanikaitsan (although actually run out on 38 on a missed caught and bowled opportunity) was still in and at 75/4/11 Denmark was anything but without a chance.
However, alert keeping by Noah Croes in the middle order (two stumpings and a catch) meant 83/6 and when Clayton Floyd had Thanikaitsan caught for 48, the Danes' chances of winning shrunk drastically. A desperate offensive by Surya Anand and Wahib Hashmi brought Denmark close to the target before Mees van Vliet uprooted Safi's offstump. Floyd took 3-21, Elenbaas 3-24.
Match 3 (Friday)
On Friday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m., the final T20 will be played on VRA.
