- Netherlands A hits out against Guernsey: 321- 181

Netherlands A left a strong impression in the first 50 over match against Guernsey at Salland. Coach Pierce Fletcher's men won by a huge margin of 140 runs.
Opening pair Michael Levitt and Musa Ahmad raced to 50/0 in the eighth over. Levitt (40) was stumped off slow left armer Martel (93/1/14.5), but Ahmad did reach his 50 shortly after. Boris Gorlee didn't need long before the ramp shot, paddle sweep, slog sweep and reverse sweep were used. With that latest innovation, the 150/1 came on the board in the 27th. Shortly after, Musa (80) played a ball from medium pacer Mullen onto his wicket: 164/2. Gorlee (45) looked to be on his way to a nearly flawless 50, but was caught nicely at mid on (182/3).
Noah Croes and debutant Sybrand 'SA' Engelbrecht brought the score past 200. Croes reached his 50 in the 42nd, but capitulated immediately afterwards (239/4). Time for some merry fireworks from Engelbrecht (43 not out) and especially Sebastiaan Braat (a great 46 off only 21 balls), who brought the score to 321/6.
Innings Guernsey
Soon Guernsey were facing a problematic 24/3. However, Matthew Stokes (56) and Thomas Nightingale (74) made a 100 partnership for the fourth wicket. After the latter's departure, the Guernsey tailenders were unable to make a fist. No fewer than seven Dutch bowlers were successful, including Sebastiaan Braat 2-18, Kyle Klein 2-22 in seven overs and Shariz Ahmad 2-42. Keeper Noah Croes picked up three catches.
