Netherlands A has won the Series of three T20s against Germany 2-1. In the first game, Germany made 150 runs, with Rohit Singh (38 not out) as top scorer. Ben Fletcher (3-28) had excellent figures, but Shariz Ahmad was even better with 4-12 in four overs, including a hattrick.
Brother Musa (52) then led the successful runchase. Together with Roel Verhagen (48 not out) he made an opening partnership of 84 runs in just 7.2 overs before Ryan Klein finished the job with 28 not out. The only wickettaker for the Germans was Muslim Yar Ashraf with 3-20.

On Friday 28 June, two T20s were scheduled. In the first, Netherlands A had a difficult start; It had already lost five wickets on 47. With a partnership of 88 runs for the sixth wicket, Ryan Klein (48 off forty) and Shariz Ahmad (82 not out off 43 balls with 6x4 and 5x6) gave the score a much better look as Netherlands A reached 169/7. In the German attack, Zahid Zadran excelled with 5-27.
Germany smelled an opportunity and went full throttle with 81 runs for the first wicket after 7.2 overs (Kohler-Cadmore 51 of 28). However, the middle order – mainly thanks to the spinning duo of Clayton Floyd (2-38) and Shariz Ahmad (3-13) failed. Germany lost four wickets for thirteen runs, but Muslim Yar Ashraf (44 not out) did not yield. Germany needed 46 runs from the last six overs and managed to make them.
Match 3
In the third and final T20 on Friday afternoon, the roles were reversed again. Batting first, Germany made 138/9 (Wardak 30). Kyle Klein took 3-28; Fletcher, Floyd and Shariz took two wickets each.
With a partnership of 77 runs for the second wicket, Roel Verhagen (39) and Noah Croes (53 not out) laid the foundation for the second Dutch victory (142/2/17.2) of the Series.
