- Netherlands A qualifies for Championship Week after rained out group final

At the Cartama Oval in Spain, Netherlands A has qualified for the Championship Week, which will be played from October 15-19. The final against Norway rained out, but earlier on Monday, the Netherlands A successfully chased an impressive 168 from Sweden.
Thanks to Share Ali, who reached his fifty in just sixteen balls, Sweden got off to a lightning start. A brilliant over from Shariz Ahmad brought Netherlands A back into the game. With a fantastic 98 not out of 27 balls with nine fours and ten sixes, Ali helped Sweden to 168/5. Shariz took 2-17, Ben Fletcher 1-19.
Musa Ahmad (17 off seven balls) was unfortunate to be run out and Noah Croes made 42 off twelve balls (4x6, 4x4). The matchwinner, however, was Shariz Ahmad, who after his excellent bowling performance also made 45 runs off 14 balls, although he was dropped twice, at 0 and at 12. In the final over, Netherlands A went past the Swedish monster score.
On October 15, Netherlands A will start against Spain. https://www.ecn.cricket/european-cricket-championship/scores-fixtures
