- Netherlands A squad announced for T20s against Italy on May 23, 24, 25

The KNCB is pleased to announce its squad to take on Italy in three T20 fixtures on May 23, 24 and 25. VRA (May 23rd) and Voorburg CC (May 24th and 25th) will play host to the fixtures.
The squad is led by experienced Netherlands squad member Sebastiaan Braat and boasts nine players with full international experience.
Three national squad players - Vikramjit Singh, Shariz Ahmed and Teja Nidamanuru - will feature in one of the three T20s, whilst Saqib Zulfiqar will be available for game 1 and 3.
Following strong starts to the club season, Shirase Rasool and Alex Roy come into the squad alongside recent 'A' Team debutants Noah Croes and Michael Levitt who will be looking to impress further.
Captain Braat said, "We are very excited to play another series, this time against a strong Italian side. We have a young and capable squad of players who are ready for this challenge."
Adding to Braat's sentiments 'A' Team Head Coach Pierce Fletcher said, "This series provides our developing Dutch based squad more time to learn and compete with full strength continental European opposition with a view to stepping into the National Team."
On the make up of the squad Fletcher remarked, "I am a big believer that we need to reward good performances and currently those come in our club competitions and Fairtree Pro Series, that is why you see Shirase, Alex and Michael given opportunity in this series".
Italy are building toward the ICC T20 World Cup European Qualifier which will take place in Scotland later in the summer.
It promises to be an exciting series and all supporters are welcome with admission free to the public.
