- Netherlands A too strong for Italy in second T20

In the second T20 against Italy, the Netherlands treated the spectators to a spectacle. The batting was much better than in the first encounter.
Nidamanuru (62), Musa Ahmad (54), Croes (25) and Shariz Ahmad (36 not out of fifteen balls) set the final score at 197 runs. All had a strike rate above 130. Khan and Da Silver gave up a lot of runs, but also took two wickets each.
On 17/3 – three wickets from left arm spinner Clayton Floyd – the game had in fact already been played. Robert Farina (25) demonstrated good batting, but the real Italian treat followed when lefthander Samarage Pruthuvi started to bat freely. The target was out of reach, but the 23-year-old Sri Lankan-born Italian took on the medium pacers mercilessly. Italy were stranded on 135/8, but the show was stolen in the closing stages by Pruthuvi (54 off 27 balls). Kyle Klein took 2-15, Floyd 3-16 and Shariz Ahmad 2-3.
