Chennai Braves was one of the franchises that participated in the Abu Dhabi T10 in November 2022. Recently the Braves visited the Netherlands for three matches. The last one was a 50 over match against a strong Dutch selection on June 1. The Netherlands won by 217 runs.
After the quick dismissal of Max O’Dowd, in-form Vikram Singh (108) and Wesley Barresi (62) constructed a wonderful partnership of 149 runs for the second wicket. Swift knocks from Levitt, Nidamanuru and Croes brought the necesssary acceleration, which meant that the players could have lunch with a solid 315 all out on the scoreboard. Cameron Hemp took five wickets for the Braves.
The Chennai Braves let themselves down when batting. When Jack Clayton (35 off 24 balls) was dismissed by Kyle Klein, the score was 49/3. Seamers (Kyle Klein 3-19) as well as spinners (Clayton Floyd 3-31, Aryan Dutt 2‑1) mercilessly went through the Indian batting line-up which was all out for 99 after 19.5 overs.
