- Netherlands too strong for inexperienced Gibraltar

As expected the Netherlands has also won its third T10 encounter. Inexperienced Gibraltar only managed 32 runs on a varied Dutch attack.
As the Dutch had four ill players (Siegers, Thomson, Kalis and De Leede) Lara Nicod made her debut and Iris Zwilling captained the side.
Gibraltar must have breathed a sigh of relief when they won the toss and decided to bat. Partly due to 15 wides the hostesses finished on 32/7. Eva Lynch took an excellent catch at point and Iris Zwilling underlined her captaincy with a wonderful direct hit.
Annemijn van Beuge had the best bowling figures (2-5) and also top scored with the bat making 17 not out.
After this simple victory the strong Italy awaits on February 23 at 9.30 PM.
