- News Update Summer Internationals

In the next couple of months, the KNCB will give regular updates for our upcoming international cricket summer. The Dutch national team will not only play on home soil against big countries like New Zealand and Pakistan, they will also compete against the USA, Namibia and Oman at the cricket grounds of Kampong Utrecht, VCC Voorburg, and Excelsior’20 Schiedam in a quadrangular tournament.
We are hoping to welcome a lot of cricket fans at the grounds to support the Men in Orange. Let’s make it a summer to remember!
Tickets
The ticket sales for the international matches against New Zealand and Pakistan started with a bang! It looks like VOC and VRA are going to colour orange, black and green this June and July. For more information about the tickets, press here.

Meeting Pakistan clubs
On 19 February, the KNCB met with some of its Dutch clubs who have a lot of members with Pakistan roots. This evening was organised to share ideas regarding the ODI matches against Pakistan this summer. It was a fruitful meeting where we spoke about how to make everyone feel at home and how to combine the Pakistan culture with the Dutch, e.g. by offering a great choice in food and by organising kids activities. By doing this, all parties involved are trying to make the ODI Super League series a big success!
Dutch cricket in the media
Aaj News Pakistan expressed interest in the meeting with the Dutch clubs on 19 February and had asked their Dutch-based reporter Mansoor Ahmed to cover it. Besides an item on the build-up to the ODI’s in July, Aaj News also interviewed KNCB Chairperson Betty Timmer about the bond between the two nations.
