- Orange women record third win in European T20 Qualifier

The Netherlands also won the third game of the T20 World Cup Qualifier in Spain . The team proved (far) too strong for the Italian women, who only managed 74/8 in the available twenty overs.
Italy could not cope with some exceptional Dutch bowling. Caroline de Lange was spot on again with 2-10 and Iris Zwilling with 2-14. Hannah Landheer bowled Malwatta with her very first ball with an absolute beauty. The bowling was outstanding, the fielding less so; only one of the five run-out chances was realised. For the Italians Suddahazai top scored with a well-made 26 not out.
Innings Netherlands
Sterre Kalis was dropped twice in the first over, but then demonstrated Thursday's good form, remaining unbeaten with 28. In the simple (10.1 overs) runchase, Babette de Leede made 25 not out.
On Sunday, the Netherlands will be in action against France at 3.30 pm.
