- Paarl Royals defeat Netherlands despite great start Dutch

The Dutch men pulled themselves together in the third T20 warm-up, although better play did not (yet) lead to a win. 134 runs were not enough to beat the Paarl Royals: 140/4.
After a fine start by Wesley Barresi (26) and Vikram Singh (30), the Netherlands quickly lost three wickets and it was 66/3/9 after 65/0/8. Contributions from Saqib Zulfiqar (21), Teja Nidamanuru (23) and Sybrand Engelbrecht (16) brought the Dutch to 135/4.
After that the Netherlands seemed to be heading for victory. Viv Kingma struck three times in a row and after four overs it was 6/3. However, men with international experience David Miller (65 not out) and Andile Phehlukwayo (56 not out) entered the arena and both played fantastic innings. With no further wicket loss, the win went to Paarl Royals. The winning partnership was 116 runs off 82 balls. Viv Kingma took 3-29, Aryan Dutt 1-12 in three overs.
