- Round 8: Men's Topklasse men and women's Hoofdklasse

Men's Topklasse
In this week's Topklasse, Punjab, ACC, HBS, Excelsior'20 and Voorburg CC took the victory in their games. Excelsior'20 moved up two places to fourth place, at the expense of HBS and VRA. Sparta still occupies the bottom spot, but will certainly try to leave it next weekend in the encounter with Dosti, who is only one spot above them.
Comments on the games:
- Steffen Mulder (VCC): "It was a challenging game for us, because we missed five very important players. But really good teams don't just have 11 good players but a broad, strong selection. So this was one of those moments when others took their chance and we had the possibility to show that we have bench strength. Ali and Karl (4 wickets) gave us a perfect start. Debutant Sajjad also took his chance and bowled well. And Mohit's world-class catch was a fitting end to the innings. At bat, Aryan continued to show his great form from last week."
Women's Hoofdklasse
In the women's Hoofdklasse there was little change in the standings; Quick defeated Ajax and therefore took over the second place from VRA, who were on a bye-week. VCC retained the lead with a victory over Rood en Wit.
