- Round 9: Voorburg CC win Hoofdklasse, HBS rises in Topklasse

Voorburg CC's women have taken the title in the Dutch Hoofdklasse with an clean sweep of 7 wins out of 8 matches (1 rained-off match) in an unbeaten season. It was the club's first league title ever in the 40-over Hoofdklasse competition. In the men's Topklasse two changes after round 9: Sparta 1888 climbs up-and-over Dosti CC at the bottom of the table, and HBS Craeyenhout keeps a close eye at the podium with a victory over Voorburg CC.
Topklasse men
There are very few changes in the table in the Topklasse compared to last week. Sparta 1888 climbed up a spot after they beat rivals Dosti, who drop to the bottom of the table. HBS stays within a single point of the top-three by beating Voorburg CC.
Hoofdklasse women
The fight for the title has officially come to an end. The women of Voorburg CC win the league, read more about this win here. KNCB Secretary Robert Vermeulen handed over the cup to VCC's captain Julia Corder.
With only one round left, the first three places have already been claimed definitively, but the fight for fourth could still be exciting if Rood en Wit manages to win the match against Ajax SC.

A winter full of Orange cricket!
Following our national women's team's successful participation in the inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand, new major tournaments are already on the schedule for our national teams. In January, the Dutch women will play the T20 World Cup Qualifier in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. The top four teams will qualify for the T20 World Cup in England in the summer of 2026. In February and March 2026, the Dutch men will participate in the ICC T20 World Cup, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka. One of the top matches is the one in Ahmedabad on February 18, 2026, against host nation India.
