- Royal Netherlands Cricket Federation (KNCB) Teams Up with ODMedia for YouTube Management

ODMedia announced today that the Royal Dutch Cricket Federation (KNCB) has signed on for YouTube management. The Dutch content services and processing company is charged with handling all aspects of the digital channel including live streaming, channel structure, promotion, and SEO optimization for the premier sports teams.
“We are thrilled that the KNCB has joined our growing sport’s client roster. Cricket is one of the biggest sports in the world and with our expertise, we are confident that we can rapidly grow their YouTube channel and help grow the Dutch interest in the sport” said Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of ODMedia.
CEO of the KNCB, Milena van Not, stated: “We are excited about the new partnership between ODMedia and the KNCB. We know this will help us to achieve a sustainable growth of cricket fans within the Netherlands and at the same time unlock a broader audience outside our country. Also, this new partnership will contribute to bringing more attention to the achievements and successes, past and future, by our national teams.”
Founded in 1883, the KNCB, or Royal Dutch Cricket Federation, represents the world of cricket in the Netherlands. It is responsible for organising cricket on all levels: the league for all cricketers, junior and senior players, development & coaching, club support, grassroots projects. And of course, the KNCB represents the national cricket teams from the Netherlands.
Today audiences worldwide can catch the team’s live sports events on its official YouTube channel.
Established in 2004 by Sjef Pijnenburg, ODMedia has strategic partnerships with all the global OTT platforms and has offices in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Benelux, South Africa, and Scandinavia. In addition to offering the full range of technical-delivery services, ODMedia acts as an aggregator for the major platforms, providing digital-rights management, monetisation, target audience development, and cross-promotion. It also manages linear and non-linear channel playout for SVOD, AVOD, and TVOD.
Advising the KNCB through this process is Leslie Ong from Be-Long B.V., who has previously collaborated with ODMedia on other projects. He will continue to work for the KNCB in this partnership.
