- Squad announced for T20 matches against New Zealand
On August 4 and 5, 2022, the Netherlands will play two T20 matches against New Zealand at the Voorburg CC field. Acting national coach Ryan Cook has announced his selection for the matches. In the New Zealand squad, the name Michael Rippon stands out; he previously played for the Netherlands.
The squad consists of the following players:

The most striking name in this list is that of left arm wristspinner Michael Rippon, who played 31 times for the Netherlands in recent years (since 2013). Batsmen Guptill and Mitchell and bowlers Santner, Sodhi and Ferguson are among the global top 100 in the individual T20 rankings.
