- T20 win for Kent II against Netherlands A

Netherlands A has lost the first of two T20s against the 'reserves' of Kent. In the first, Kent had to chase 134 runs. However, rain meant a revised target (88) and Kent stayed well above that. The second T20 was postponed due to persistent drizzle.
Both matches took place at the County Ground in Beckenham, on the south-east side of London.
In the first match which was shortened by rain, The Netherlands A came to 134/6 through Michael Levitt (37), Boris Gorlee (40) and Noah Croes (27). It was Orange's left arm seamer Fred Klaassen who had the best figures on the English side: 2-18.
Kent had no trouble chasing the modest target. The strike rates of Denly (48), Linde (34) and Finch (28) were well above what was requested. When the DLS target was set at 88 runs from fourteen overs after rain, Kent was well above that (125/3/14). Offspinner Arnav Jain had two successes with 2-18.
Unfortunately the second game and the two games for Thursday have been cancelled.
