- Team effort brings Netherlands A victories over Ireland and England

Netherlands A has recovered from the defeat against Italy on Monday. On Tuesday, it restricted Ireland to 122 and England to 121. Both totals were successfully chased.
With Seamus Lynch (44), Ireland had a very strong start. However, when he was out, the run rate went down. Jain (2-16), Elenbaas (2-14), Braat and Floyd each took two wickets.
Despite a shaky start (36/4), the Netherlands went passed that score, mainly thanks to Sikander Zulfiqar (36 off 14), Michael Levitt (24 off 11), Teun Kloppenburg (18 not out from four balls) and Roel Verhagen (10 off two).
In the evening, England was the next opponent. Mees van Vliet struck twice in his first over and thanks mainly to the tall paceman, England stumbled to 38/4. Through a strong partnership and 57 runs from Lincoln, England still managed 121.
Again there was no sparkling top order, but Boris Gorlee decided to take matters into his own hands. He reached his fifty in only twenty balls. 53 runs required off 21 balls. After 7.1 overs, the scores were identical: 86/4. When Sebastiaan Braat also joined in, only 18 runs off the last two overs had to be made. 'BoGo' pulled out all the stops and was unbeaten on 78 off just 28 balls.
