- Team effort leads Dutch women past Scotland

The Netherlands has spectacularly won the second match in the context of the HCLTech TriSeries. In Amstelveen, the Dutch women chased Scotland's 180 for the loss of seven wickets.
The Netherlands had a dream start when Saskia Horley, centurion in the game against PNG, was caught handsomely behind the wicket off the third delivery. Moments later, Hannah Landheer bowled Abbi Aitken.
It was 60/3 by a brilliant direct hit by Caroline de Lange. The Lange also bowled McColl, but the Scots kept the runrate apparently effortlessly around five per over.
19-year old Darcey Carter took advantage from sometimes less convincing fielding and made a classy 86. This included a partnership of 72 for the fifth wicket with Lorna Jack (34).
Still, the Dutch kept their focus. Silver Siegers (2-32), Caroline de Lange (2-33) and primarily Iris Zwilling (4-31) walked through the Scottish tail. 180 all out was the disappointing end result for the Scots.
Innings Nederland
A solid opening stand of the Netherlands (54/1) came to an end when Babette de Leede (18) was given caught behind, and Robine Rijke was out LBW.
An excellent innings by opening batter Phebe Molkenboer (33) laid the foundation, but it seemed that the Netherlands did not have the depth to absorb the loss of the two top wickets. However, the energetic chase start had a great sequel with debutant Carlijn van Koolwijk (19) and Frédérique Overdijk (17).
Caroline de Lange (29 not out) and Eva Lynch (26 not out) then finished fantastically with an unbeaten partner ship of forty runs for the eighth wicket.
