- Tupkertaaltraining extends sponsorship agreement with the KNCB for three years

Tupkertaaltraining is pleased to announce that its sponsorship agreement with the Royal Netherlands Cricket Association (KNCB) has been extended for a new period of three years. After three years of intensive and valuable collaboration, both parties look forward with confidence to further strengthening their partnership.
Under the brand @mingle_community, Tupkertaaltraining also develops creative and connective forms of language education, in which language acquisition goes hand in hand with social interaction, integration, and community building.
As a knowledge partner of the KNCB, Tupkertaaltraining provides support in the area of language development for coaches, players, and umpires. Clear communication is essential in elite sports and team development—both on and off the field. Through targeted language and presentation coaching, Tupkertaaltraining contributes to professional growth, mutual connection, and inclusivity within the cricket community.
Sofie Walraven, CEO of Tupkertaaltraining: “Cricket brings together people from different backgrounds, cultures, and languages. This aligns perfectly with who we are and what we stand for. Language is the key to true integration and professional development. We are proud to contribute our expertise to the continued growth of Dutch cricket over the next three years.”
Pieter Seelaar, Manager Sponsorship & Communications at the KNCB: “Our collaboration with Tupkertaaltraining has tangibly strengthened us in recent years in the areas of communication and professional development. Their role as a knowledge partner is of great value to our coaches, players, and officials. We look forward to further intensifying this partnership.”
This year, Tupkertaaltraining celebrates its 25th anniversary. What began as the initiative of Marijke Tupker, who founded her language school 25 years ago with a strong belief that language is the key to integration and professional growth, has grown into a leading institute for language training for non-native speakers. The team now consists of 14 teachers, and the company is led by Marijke and her daughter Sofie. Tupkertaaltraining has thus evolved into a true family business, where quality, personal attention, and long-term relationships are central. The organization primarily focuses on a professional target group of expats and internationals and offers classroom training, private lessons, online programs, and in-company training, all fully tailored to the participants’ practical and professional environments.
In addition to its partnership with the KNCB, Tupkertaaltraining is also a proud sponsor of Qui Vive Cricket Club, underscoring its commitment to sport, health, and inclusivity at both local and national levels.
With this contract extension, Tupkertaaltraining and the KNCB reaffirm their shared ambition to continue investing in development, connection, and professionalization within Dutch cricket.
